Transport and Warehousing
For heavy steel products as well as for voluminous spare parts, our own transport modes are available.
Our trucks have a payload of 32 MT in Belgium and the Netherlands. For France, Spain or Germany the payload is 28 MT. Assistance for heavy lift transport. Vans for urgent air cargo. Warehouses for general cargo, steel products as well as for perishables and temperature controlled cargo. Stripping and stuffing of containers.
Logistics & Custom's Clearance
In port we offer all stevedoring and forwarding activities.
On import cargos Bayant assures a good follow-up from arrival over storage to delivery.
Special care with in-house knowledge is given to custom’s clearance and fiscal representation.
Cargos for export receive a clear pre-arrival and delivery instruction followed by a notice of arrival and all documentation needed for confirmation of export.
Chartering and Inland Barges
Bayant affects mulitmodal shifts under own supervision. For these operations sea vessels or inland barges are fixed through decisive national or international brokers.
Know-how and own handling material together with local labour brings our customers a multimodal solution against a very competitive rate.
This creates an accessible service with a reduced environmental footprint to almost two hundred million European inhabitants.
Husbandry and Ship's Agency
From Amsterdam to Barcelona we provide an optimal agency service to your vessels. Reliable partners both in France and the Netherlands are linked to our people serving all Belgian and Spanish ports.
Within this range our own trucks affect deliveries on a 24/7 basis. Besides husbandry services on all types of ships our expertise and in house skills offer a perfect assistance on general cargo and reefer vessels, bulkers, tankers and gas carriers.
